On Monday the 10th March 2025 Ekadashi, the world famous "LATHMAR HOLI" has been celebrated in Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi
with fanfare and gaiety. Amid the mellifluous folk songs, bhajans and dances, women holding the lathis and men holding shields played a
colorful Holi with flowers In the precincts of the Janmasthan Mandir. They used scented flower petals and vegetable colors which were sprayed
over on each other.
On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, on Wednesday the 26th February 2025, a magnificent procession commenced from
the precincts of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan, Mathura at 12 noon. The whole atmosphere has turned into festive and devotional mood
with mellifluous sounds of drum beats and the spectacle of the entourage comprising of Bhagwan Shiva followed by Nandi and His entourage. The
dance of the Maha Kali and Pramadha Ganas was the special attraction. Overall the the program has enthralled the devotees and the citizen
of Mathura and filled air with unbridled joy and piety.
On Magh Krishna Ekadashi, accordingly on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 8 am, the installation of the
gold-plated Shrimad Bhagavat Ji was done near the idol of Maharishi Vedavyas Ji at the Yugal Sarkar Shree Radha Krishna Temple located at
Shri Bhagwat Bhavan. After the installation, the original text of Shrimad Bhagavat Ji was recited by eleven Bhagavat Acharyas until Magh Shukla
Dvitiya, accordingly until January 31, 2025.
